Guestbook (continued)

I found your site while searching for dogs which didn't shed and
were non allergenic.  I have never heard of the Chinese Crested
breed before, but think they are adorable.  I have been thinking of
having a dog again.  It's been more than 20 years since I have had
one.  My last dog was a wire fox terrier, whom we loved very
much, but because of illness passed.  It broke my heart when he
died, and I swore I never wanted to experience losing a pet like
that again.  A short time later, I lost my husband to a sudden heart
attack.  It left me needing to work full time, so having another pet
was out of the question.  I have remarried, and my current
husband had had dogs in the past too, but due to losing his dog in
a divorce, he has shied away from owning another pet.  I think the
emotional loss took a toll on him.  He is retiring later this year, and
we will need something more to keep us busy and with all our
children grown and away from home, I think we could use some
company.  I have been thinking about this for several years and
perhaps later this year or early next, I may consider adopting
another dog.  I have several young grand children and they are
animal lovers too, so a dog would be a welcome addition to our
family, and these dogs are just precious!
Thank you for showing me how lovable this breed is, I may
certainly consider this breed when I am ready to adopt.

I have had Chinese Crested pets for a couple of decades now. I
got my first one due to my husband's severe asthma and dog
allergy.  I'm on my 3rd one.  All of them were rescued and all of
them were the most wonderful dogs I've ever had.  This is the
most loving of all breeds and they love to cuddle.  I bought some
of your PJ's for my current CC and I love them.  I wish you were
going to make more soon.  Please stay around.  When I lose my
precious CC, I will want another one.  I'll never be without.

Lost my boy Tommy yesterday. He went to Rainbow Bridge, where I
hope to see him again. He was 16 yrs. old and the sweetest dog I
ever had. Miss him terribly. He was hairless, and keeping his skin
well was a constant. But I would do it all again. He was a rescue.
Got him from a kennel when he was 2. Tommy is one dog I will
never forget. Have had many dogs in my life, but Tommy will always
be up there at the top. I do miss him. Thank you for having a place
to express my feelings about Tommy. Many people do not
understand the love between a dog and his caregiver.  Thank
you.

Thanks for introducing me to the breed! I would love to sketch

I just lost my tiny sweet boy Luke, 18 1/2 yrs old, not a Crested, but
still a sweet brave little boy. I had to tell him I'd be ok, it was ok for
him to go be with my Mom, she was waiting for him, he stayed here
so long to take care of his daddy... Don't know how I got here, but
great seeing the pics of Geoff and Pony & faussi, Pony always had
a big grin for me, just like my little lulu, with his joker
smiles...heavens not missing that angel anymore.  5/26/17

I learn so much from your site. My sweet Ruby came from a poor
situation. She was found out in the country in a trailer park where
some boys were being mean to her. She was living alone outside.
No more! She came as a foster and had to learn that hands are not
all bad. She is still hypervigilant, horrified of thunder and fearful of
strangers. On the plus side her health is good, she has bonded
well with my ancient rescue Yorkie and loves my kids(all over 16).
She is happy when she sees me get a pr of pjs out for her and
loves my bad singing. She's is my little shadow. I am ill and in bed
quite a bit so they are my bed buddies. They get to go outside with
me sometimes but more often the kids walk with them. Ru is my
little alarm. She barks and lets me know we have company before
they can knock. Foster failure seems to be my MO here but this
girl is a blessing. 6/27/17

God bless you for what you do.  We've just lost our last dog, a
Chihuahua, who was 18.  We started out with 5 cats and 2 dogs,
with both dogs, a bloodhound and our chi, being rescues.  All the
cats were rescued except for our little Bengal girl.  My heart can
not take anymore as I lose part of myself everytime I lose a furbaby
but I still love to look at the pictures.  God has a special place in
Heaven for you and what you do. 12/18/17
